Okay, maybe more of a restoration than a mod, but when I bought the car it was almost unreadable. I used the Johnson's Wax headlight restoration stuff on both sides of the lens plastic, and man was it an improvement.

Then I added this, because my eyes don't like to focus close range at night:

lol we went on a roadtrip to Canada (when I get the time, I'm planning to do a big writeup about it, but that'll happen next month probably), and we have an 8-month-old. Rather than pull over every time we want to know how she's doing, I installed a backup camera on the rear seat, pointing at her, then rigged it up to a toggle switch under the dash. Any time we wanted to see how she was doing, just flip a switch, and the stereo thinks we're backing up. It would have been perfect if it didn't put those 'distance lines' on the screen; even so, it was pretty awesome. In-car nannycam.
